Description
TB-500 (Ac-LKKTETQ) is a synthetic heptapeptide consisting of seven amino acids that corresponds to the N-acetylated active fragment (amino acids 17–23) of the naturally occurring protein thymosin beta-4. While the endogenous thymosin beta-4 protein is a full 43-amino acid chain found in virtually all human cells, TB-500 isolates the specific sequence responsible for cell migration, actin regulation, and tissue repair, making it more stable and systemically active when administered via subcutaneous injection.
